Jean Sulpice
Jean Sulpice, Head virtuoso at the Oxalys restaurant in Val Thorens has picked up his 2nd Michelin star. At only 31 years old, he was already one of the youngest chefs in France to have been awarded a 1st star.... Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person
Good for him. The meal last year was very different by that I mean not your usual fair and it was very nice indeed, not a daily thing but for special occasions very good(if you can afford it).

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Charlatanefc, The food there is not rich and creamy, however the bill would probably cause a stroke. Kramer, I think admin said when he announced the EoSB that the restaurant would be closed. Shame as I enjoyed it too, and would have liked to go back.

However, this indicates otherwise.

Otherwise you'll just go on seeing the one name:
Helen Beaumont, I wasn't referring to the food being rich and creamy being the cause for heart attacks Wink

Charlatanefc, surprisingly the meal admin arranged for us wasn't that pricey. It was certainly better value than the meal we had in another less salubrious place up the hill.

That pigeon breast was marvellous. I'd be up for another, though I'd pass on the space-dust pud Confused

skimottaret, it is definitely open that week.
I was told that it was to close on the 24th Apr, the day the EoSB begins but (although I'm still awaiting official confirmation) it looks as if they may in fact be staying open another week Happy
