Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Lib Tech Skunk Ape '08 162
, Flow M9 bindings, Northwave Decade SL2 boots
Experience:
3 weeks. Want more. Need more. Must snowboard!
Competence:
Reasonable. Can carve pretty well and land small air. Learning to butter here and there, and improving confidence on sheet ice (practically a local delicacy in the Salzkammergut) on black runs. Tend to bail now only when pushing myself or if I'm trying to show off for a hot girl (never works)
Resorts visited:
Borovets, Bulgaria
Val Thorens, La France
St. Wolfgang, Austria (more of a summer resort really...)
Various smaller resorts in southern Germany growing up... but I was on skis... not a waste exactly, just second best.
Favourite Run/Moment:
Realising I could carve fairly well all of a sudden.
My 30ft jump into 6ft of pow (didn't land it but the feeling was awesome).
The otherwordly run down the sketchy black from Cime Caron into Orelle during a vicious ice storm.
This season:
2008 season now over for me
I think a trip to Milton Keynes may be in order...
Next season:
Canada, baby! Also a quick Euro-trip in December as I won't be able to hold out til February...
Goals:
I have a few...
Can now ride switch, but could improve a lot.
Want to land some decent air (i.e. more than 2 feet off the ground) and get some grabs going on.
Also want to get my carving tighter and faster.
Further improvements to my confidence straightlining at very high speed.
Very keen to improve my off-piste abilities to include the steep & deep (mostly just extra confidence I need here not to lame out on myself in 4ft deep powder).
Not that fussed about park, got more of a freeride thing going on, but would like to improve my skills on the rails a little all the same (landed a short U-rail on my first try, but have yet to gather the cojones to try a rainbow-rail).
